Announcing Food Photo Contest
Send us or upload your best food (ahem, #foodporn) photo while dining at Kelly’s Outer Banks Restaurant, and we’ll choose two winners monthly: grand prize winner gets $100 gift certificate; first runner-up gets $50 gift certificate.
What is #foodporn, you ask?
According to Wikipedia: the term “food porn” is a trend in food photography that presents the food as simple, clean and naturally as possible and using special effects, such as selective focus, tilted plates and extreme close-ups. The hashtag symbol # in front of the term makes it easier for foodies to find appealing food photos while searching for a restaurant or a recipe.
Photos are to be uploaded to the Kelly’s Restaurant Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/KellysOuterBanksRestaurant or emailed to kellysobx@gmail.com.

- How to Enter: The photo contest will held monthly; initially beginning at 5 p.m. on August 8, 2015. Contest is subject to terminate at Kelly’s discretion.
- Photos are to be emailed to kellysobx@gmail.com or uploaded to the Kelly’s Restaurant Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/KellysOuterBanksRestaurant.
- Winner Selection: Photo must be original and taken at Kelly’s Restaurant, unpublished, and not copyrighted.
- Kelly’s reserves the right to use, re-use, publish, re-publish, post on a website, transmit, modify and edit all submitted photos, in whole or in part, severally or in conjunction with other materials, in any medium now or hereafter known, for commercial, promotional and educational purposes and for any other purpose whatsoever, including without limitation, publicity, marketing, advertising, fundraising and/or trade.
