Kelly's Restaurant Announces Annual Co-Worker Award Recipients

For the past ten years, Kelly's Outer Banks Restaurant and Tavern has given employees the opportunity to select the recipient of the "Co-worker of the Year" Award. Over 50 year-round employees participated in the voting this year to name a co-worker that is the most enjoyable to work with on a daily basis, shares in the workload and is an inspiration to others.

Kelly's Restaurant first opened its doors on June 19, 1985 and is winding down a year-long 20th Anniversary Celebration. An employee party was recently held and Mike Kelly, owner of Kelly's Restaurant, announced the winner of the 20 th Anniversary Co-Worker of the Year Award. This year's award went to Saul Cuellar, a ware-washer and caterer well-known to his fellow employees as a very hard-working individual. "He always wears a smile and is willing to pitch in wherever needed. "

The second place Co-worker of the Year Award was given to Glen MacLeod - Dining Room and Bar Manager, while the third place award was given to Glenda Morse - Assistant Manager and waiter. Kelly's is open year round and features dining, catering and nightlife entertainment.
